Victoria Leeds, which is owned and operated by Redical, has announced  that manufacturers of fine perfumery Le Labo, which is part of The Estée Lauder Company, is set to make its regional debut at the destination. This latest commitment by a premium, global brand demonstrates further confidence in Victoria Leeds and cements the destination’s position as the prime city pitch.

Born in Grasse and raised in New York in 2006, Le Labo has accumulated a steadfast following for its philosophy of creating unique sensorial experiences, rooted in slow perfumery. The debut 1, 500 sq ft Leeds boutique, which is set to open in July, will be spaced across four floors, and will function like an open artisanal laboratory where fragrances will be freshly hand-blended and personalised for each customer. Meaning ‘the lab’ in French, Le Labo works with a community of craftspeople from flower harvesters, local farmers, candle pourers, and perfumers, to create fragrances to order. Each hand-crafted fragrance is complete with a personalised label including the date and place of the formulation, as well as a message chosen by the client. Le Labo Victoria Leeds will offer the brand’s core collection of 19 genderless perfumes and 12 candles, as well as sensorial formulas for body, hair and face, and its grooming line.

Rachel Bradburn, Leasing Director at Victoria Leeds, commented: “Le Labo’s  focus on handcrafted, high-quality fragrances perfectly complements the character and premium tenant-mix we have curated in Queen Victoria Street and wider Victoria Leeds.
