Evolve Estates, part of commercial property and investment collective M Core, has signed two new tenants at the Penicuik Centre in Scotland.

Popular sushi restaurant, Yokohama Sushi, has agreed a 10-year lease on a 824 sq ft unit at the scheme, joining other food and beverage tenants such as Greggs and Domino’s.

Maj Gifts Ornaments will also be opening a location at the scheme later this year in a 1,940 sq ft unit on a one-year lease.

These new brands join existing tenants such as Farmfoods and centre anchor, B&M, at the scheme, which is positioned in the heart of the commuter town, just 10 miles south of Edinburgh.

Guy Robinson, Asset Manager at Evolve Estates, said: “We are thrilled to have secured these two new brands at Penicuik Centre further strengthening both our food and beverage and retail offering.

“We’re committed and focused to expanding the tenant mix even further and over the coming months we’ll be looking to announce more new tenants.”

The 19-unit centre offers over 46,000 sq ft of retail space and boasts excellent transport links.
