During summer 2023, Impact Retail were challenged to design & deliver an enviable beauty experience for Elizabeth Arden. And they certainly delivered. Leveraging some of the most vital beauty trends in modern retail, the exclusive pop-up sites within Boots stores have been wonderfully received by peers and consumers alike.

Elizabeth Arden’s eponymous founder was a pioneer in the skincare industry, acting as inspiration for many brands in the beauty sector today, which makes this pop-up so special. On the market for over 100 years, the Elizabeth Arden has been a model for opulent beauty and their Retinol +HPR launch is the newest edition to Arden’s iconic Eight Hour skincare collection.

Choosing Boots as the key location for the physical launch, Elizabeth Arden tasked Impact Retail with a brief to transform Beauty Live Sites into experiential moments for the launch.

With an understanding that beauty enthusiasts are eager for efficacy-driven products, the window feature was designed to include product results. With stats highlighting that 100% of users found the product comfortable and to visibly reduce wrinkles, shoppers are drawn to enter the store and seek more information.

The uncluttered window display also provides visibility into the elegance of the experiential space itself. The blush pink, white and gold colour palette shines through, bringing to life the colours of the Elizabeth Arden products themselves.

While inside, shoppers can truly immerse themselves in the brand’s story, as they are invited to take a seat to discover the benefits of the retinol for their own personal skincare regime. While an Elizabeth Arden brand ambassador is always available, the pop-up features moments of brand and product information as an educational piece.

The beauty and elegant aesthetic of this event space is backed-up by the opportunity to engage in a tactile and personalised service. With a study finding that 77% of consumers have chosen, paid for and recommended a brand which offers a personalised service or experience, Impact Retail developed a central space for tailored consultations and conversations.

Launching in three iconic Boots stores in Dublin, Covent Garden and Manchester, the pop-up has been a huge success for the luxury skincare brand.

“Working with impact on our Retinol + HPR event site project was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Their ability to craft a design that matched the brief in terms of both functionality and design was impressive and thanks to their expertise and attention to detail the events have been a huge success. We’ve had amazing feedback from both our teams in-store, customers, and the retailer.”
