French fashion eyewear brand bloobloom opens a brand new 615 sq ft store in East London’s thriving shopping destination Spitalfields on 2nd May 2025. Located at 41 Brushfield Street, this marks bloobloom’s seventh opening in London, joining its growing line-up of London stores in Canary Wharf, Carnaby, Covent Garden, King’s Road, Marylebone and White City.

The brand-new store interior resembles a serene Mediterranean escape where thoughtful design meets tranquility creating a fully immersive customer experience. Inspired by the sun-drenched coastal architecture of the Mediterranean, the store features creamy stucco walls and microcement floors, softly rounded ceilings and arches, and sand-toned linen curtains that gently diffuse the light.

In a bold and contemporary twist, this softness is artfully contrasted by brutalist-inspired sculptural furniture, featuring raw textures and solid forms that ground the space and add an edge to its organic warmth. The interplay between the curved, inviting architecture and the structured, minimalist furnishings creates a dynamic tension that is both sophisticated and unexpected.

The full collection which features sunglasses and spectacles will be available to shop in store with prices starting at £99. The Spitalfields store will offer customers the full bloobloom experience from walk-in eye examinations with in-house opticians, adjustment and repair services as well as personalised style advice. All frames are handcrafted and made from sustainable materials.

Abbas Manai, Co-Founder at bloobloom says “Opening in a prime spot in Spitalfields, is the perfect next step for bloobloom. This location allows us to deepen our connection with the East London community. Spitalfields is an exciting shopping destination, and expanding our retail presence here helps us grow our reach while staying true to our mission of making quality stylish eyewear more accessible. We are looking forward to welcoming loyal and new customers to this store.”

Jason Dervin, Spitalfields Estate Director says: We’re thrilled that bloobloom is joining our vibrant retail community. We believe the designer eyewear brand’s distinctive style and offering will not only excite our existing visitors but draw in a new wave of style-conscious individuals to discover all that Spitalfields has to offer.

bloobloom was founded by Abbas and Fares Manai in 2018. For every purchase made, a pair of glasses is donated to one of the world’s 2.5 billion people in need who don’t have access to eyecare as part of the brands ‘Pair for a Pair’ scheme. The ‘Pay What You Can’ loyalty scheme offers customers the choice to choose their second pair of spectacles or sunglasses from a tiered system.
