Quintain has secured an “extraordinary and unforgettable” taste experience, set to open in a prime location in Wembley Park, London’s newest cultural neighbourhood. Haute Dolci, the luxury dessert operator, has signed to open in a 3,350 sq ft restaurant including a mezzanine, its first location in London.

Combining the high fashion elegance of France with Italy’s passion for all things sweet, Haute Dolci turns fine dining into fine art with a range of mouth-watering luxury desserts that will bring a new culinary experience to the line-up at Wembley Park. Drawing on 12 years of culinary experience at Heavenly Desserts, the restaurant will offer a variety of delicious creations including American waffles and Belgian waffles, cookie dough, pancakes, crêpes and a tantalising selection of chocolate desserts.

Nizam Mohamed, Founder of Haute Dolci, said: “I have spent the past 12 years perfecting the concept behind Haute Dolci and I am thrilled to be opening the doors to our first restaurant in London at Wembley Park. The entire premise at Haute Dolci is about creating special moments and an extraordinary and unforgettable experience for visitors. This aligns with the Wembley Park experience of memorable times and the culture of the landmark destination, catering to the varied needs of visitors, local residents and workers.”

The restaurant will be in a prime location on Wembley Park Boulevard, the go-to shopping destination at the heart of the 85-acre development. The tree-lined pedestrianised avenue will feature memorable retail and dining experiences. Wembley Park Boulevard leads from the fountains of Arena Square in front of The SSE Arena, Wembley and will feature some 21 top names across 76,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space. The new signing is firmly in keeping with the vision for retail and leisure at Wembley Park, focused on attracting an imaginative spectrum of major brands and independents, with the mixed-use development continuing to challenge the retail malaise faced by the sector.

The multi-billion transformation of Wembley Park by Quintain is one of the largest and most all-embracing urban developments currently underway in Europe.

Matt Slade, Retail Director of Quintain, said: “Much of the negotiations with Haute Dolci were completed during the Covid-19 lockdown, demonstrating our continuing commitment to offering an appealing spectrum of retail, dining and leisure choices. The destination caters to the millions of people who will live in, work in and visit Wembley Park in addition to providing a variety of options before and after events when they return to Wembley Stadium. The new signing will boost the provision of the experience offer that is commonplace amongst our tenants, catering to ever changing consumer behaviours. It will also benefit our retailers by creating yet another reason to visit the varied mixed-use destination.”

Projected to attract over 20 million visitors a year, Wembley Park will benefit from £328m potential annual retail spend by 2027, putting it ahead of London districts such as Camden, Victoria and Ealing Broadway. Minutes from central London, it is easily reached by three Tube lines, two train lines, eight bus routes plus ample car parking at low cost.

Surrounding the world-famous national stadium, Wembley Park’s transformation reflects its legendary past and strong cultural heritage where many of the world’s greatest musicians, entertainers and sportspeople have played. Attractions include London Designer Outlet, the capital’s leading fashion and lifestyle outlet centre; London’s largest Boxpark; Wembley Park Market with entrepreneurial merchants and makers; and Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, which recently hosted the first large scale production to open in Stage 4 of the government’s roadmap to re-opening post-Covid.

Wembley Park Boulevard is just one of the wide streets and attractive public spaces at Wembley Park, with plans in-hand for new parks and public realm that will bring the total amount of open space to around 42 acres, including private residential gardens.

Additionally, Wembley Park will be the largest single site of Build to Rent homes in the UK with some 20,000 full-time residents by 2027. Quintain provides design-led, lifestyle-focused apartments and an all-inclusive offer to those seeking an easier way to live in the capital.
