Sports Direct has opened the doors to a brand-new 35,000sq. ft store in Preston, as part of the group’s strategic expansion plans. The store, which is situated in Deepdale Shopping Park houses Sports Direct, USC, Evans Cycles and GAME as well as a Belong esports arena.
James France, Group Head of Real Estate at Frasers Group said: “With each new store opening, we continue to establish ourselves as the leading destination for sports and lifestyle. Our expansion plans for the UK & Europe are huge, and we’re delighted to be opening new stores in key markets as we continue to invest significantly into physical retail.”
Sports Direct has been shortlisted in the 2022 Creative Retail Awards for their Oxford Street Flagship.
