Those with a keen eye for fashion will be happy to hear that iconic British handbag designer Radley have recently opened a permanent store at Shopping Outlet Junction 32. This was after a hugely successful pop-up that launched at the outlet in September 2019 and was there for 6 months.

A Bigger and Better Space

The larger, permanent Radley store opened its doors for the first time on August 22nd and gives fashion enthusiasts the ability to shop for up to 100 more handbags from additional ranges and at up to 60% off the RRP. The much-loved brand was a huge hit at Wakefield with their temporary space with the designer known for their stylish range while still retaining functionality, so shoppers will be happy to hear that there is now a permanent store that is twice as big as the previous space and will allow them to make huge savings on their products.

Shopping Safely

Of course, doubling the space also means that more people will be able to shop while adhering to social distancing guidelines at once. Shoppers are keen to get out once again, but many are still cautious and nervous, so the extra space will be helpful for letting people shop safely and with confidence. The Junction 32 Yorkshire Shopping Outlet has introduced several safety measures since reopening in June, including a two-way system and hand sanitiser points throughout so people can enjoy the entire complex safely.

Part of an Expansion

This is part of an exciting period for the London-born brand that is known for accessories in addition to handbags as they opened a new 1200 square-foot store in Glasgow in the stunning Buchanan Galleries earlier in the year. Head of Retail Kevin Morris described how this was a huge step for the brand:

“We are thrilled to be opening a new store within the beautiful Buchanan Galleries. Glasgow has fast become one of the top retail destinations in the UK and we’re delighted to be stamping the Radley paw print on this dynamic city with a crisp new store design.”

A Record Year

Radley’s expansion has been made possible by a record year in 2019 when they recorded record revenues of £92.9 million in a time where many other British brands struggled. This was largely due to an impressive 104% increase in US sales after opening up an office in Dallas to manage the US expansion.

It is an exciting time for the iconic British handbag designer with their new permanent space at Shopping Outlet Junction 32 as part of a larger expansion in recent times. The success of the temporary pop up will give the designer confidence even in the current economic climate and the combination of affordability, style and practicality will certainly attract anyone with an interest in fashion.
