Supporting recent research by business group Made in Britain, stating that three-quarters of businesses are more likely to buy British to boost the economy post pandemic, PDL have continued to expand their range of UK produced solutions. Distributing sheet products for the UK’s only manufacturers of materials such as Perspex® cast acrylic and Alupanel aluminium composite, PDL are the go to specialist suppliers for businesses sourcing UK made substrates.

Alupanel producers, Multipanel UK, have demonstrated continual investment in sector leading technology to enhance their capabilities with a second production line added to greatly increase production capacity and a multi-million pound in-house recycling plant at their Kent factory. 

PDL form part of the UK manufacturing group of for Perspex® acrylic. Produced in Lancashire since 1934, Perspex® acrylic is one of the most recognisable UK brands in fabrication. Recently, production of clear Perspex® acrylic was increased by 300% to meet unprecedented demand for Covid-19 protective screens. More recently, as demand returns for signage, display and commercial fabrication once again, production of hundreds of Perspex® colours continue.
