NEXT has now opened the doors of its new Beauty & Home store at intu Watford.

Taking over the former Debenhams location, the NEXT store includes a Beauty, Home and Women’s fashion lifestyle offering, bringing visitors even more high-quality retail choice.

This is one of the first of NEXT’s physical beauty stores to open, which will see the retailer extend its fast growing premium online beauty offer into bricks and mortar.

Featuring beauty brands such as Benefit, Urban Decay, Bare Minerals, M.A.C and Lancôme, the new concept store is set to become a popular addition to the North West London retail destination.

The UK health and beauty market is set to grow by 8.8% by 2024 according to Global Data, when it will be worth an extra £2 billion.

The opening is therefore welcome news for intu Watford, as it sees shoppers back with confidence, following the easing of lockdown.

intu Watford is a leading retail and leisure destination, typically attracting around 16 million visits from consumers per year. In September 2018, it significantly enhanced its offering with the unveiling of a 380,000 sq ft, £180 million extension, taking the total centre to 1.4m sq ft.

“The health and beauty sector is performing well at present, and is set for further growth – so this is a great time for NEXT Beauty & Home to open its doors. We are confident that the store will thrive at a high footfall location like intu Watford, and we look forward to working with them.

“We are seeing a healthy flow of new deals and openings like this one across our centres, as confidence continues to pick up across the retail sector.”
