Shaftesbury has announced three new openings in the iconic Carnaby destination; Liars & Lovers, Timberland and RÆBURN, set to open this year, alongside the recently opened RRL.
Debuting its first ever retail store, rising jewellery brand Liars & Lovers will open at 56b Carnaby Street in September. Previously only selling online on ASOS, the 1,054 sq ft space will offer shoppers fashion- forward jewellery, accessories, hair accessories and exclusive premium jewellery ranges. The store will also have a dedicated in-store piercing studio.
Leading outdoor lifestyle brand Timberland, a VF Corporation brand, will open its new 4,488 sq ft flagship in November at 5-7 Carnaby Street. A unique flagship experience which will serve as a platform to engage the London community and express Timberland’s brand purpose and movement, creating a purpose-driven and inclusive place that invites everyone to be part of a culture of transformation in a Timberland’s unique space.
Christopher Raeburn’s eponymous British label RÆBURN will open a pop-up shop at 3 Newburgh Street end of August. Known widely for its innovative and responsible approach to design, the new RÆBURN pop-up will house the brand’s seasonal collections, collaborations and RÆMADE special items, in addition to being used as a creative studio to host a wide range of events and workshops.
Joining the roster of renowned and independent labels in the creative Newburgh Quarter is Ralph Lauren’s RRL, at 6 Newburgh Street. Named after Ralph and Ricky Lauren’s ‘Double RL’ Ranch in Colorado, the new RRL standalone store opened 17 July and neighbours fellow American brands Filson, Shinola and Levi’s Vintage Clothing. The 634 sq ft store will focus on iconic denim pieces and hand-selected vintage products and feature rustic décor with period antique fixtures, hand-curated to complement the unit and location.
