MANGO, an international leader in the world of fashion, has opened its newest store in Chester, creating over 16 new jobs, as it seeks to expand its presence across the north of England.

Situated in Eastgate Square, the new store offers MANGO’s latest Woman and Man collections, including clothing, footwear and accessories all designed at MANGO’s Barcelona atelier by a time of 500 experts. Combining timeless and versatile staples with more stylish contemporary pieces influenced by the brand’s Mediterranean heritage, MANGO’s Woman and Man collections offer quality fashion at reasonable prices.

The new 6,200 sq ft store also reflects MANGO’s New Med concept – an interior design inspired by the brand’s Mediterranean heritage and culture, with natural textures, warm tones and sustainable materials that create a bright and welcoming shopping space.

This latest opening is the second location in Chester and forms part of MANGO’s 2024–2026 4Es Strategic Plan, which aims to drive sales and store expansion. This includes an ambitious roadmap to expand MANGO’s store presence across the UK, a top 10 market for revenue and priority for growth.  This year, expansion in the UK is focusing on southern and northern England, with new locations opening in Cheltenham, and Kensington and King’s Road in London, in addition to the Chester site.

The expansion plan builds on MANGO’s strong performance in the first half of 2026, reporting a global turnover of €1.852 billion, up 7.2% year on year (10.7% at constant exchange rates). This growth was driven by the popularity of its collections, including collaborations with Eckhaus Latta and British tailoring house Richard James, alongside continued new store openings.

Fiona Cullen, International Regional Director for the UK & Ireland, commented: “Our new Woman and Man store in Chester is a confident step forward for MANGO, building on the strong progress we have made over the last year to broaden the appeal of MANGO to even more customers across the UK. Chester is the perfect home to introduce our Woman and Man collections to customers in the north of England, in a store format that truly represents the Mediterranean soul of our brand.”

MANGO has been present in the UK since 1998.  At the end of 2025, the company had over  100 points of sale across the UK, including standalone stores and concessions, as well as Mango.com and an online presence across other marketplaces.
