The latest FLANNELS opening has found a home in a building with historic fashion heritage. Over seven floors and 120,000 square feet, the behemoth space formerly owned by revolutionary draper Owen Owen hosts an expansive fashion offering.

Open from today, 23 June, the revolutionary store brings a vast, dynamic beauty edit, four restaurants, a ‘tweakments’ destination courtesy of celebrity-approved Dr. Esho, the world’s first Barry’s Bootcamp situated inside a store and a soon-to-be-unveiled roof terrace with spectacular views of the city.

Michael Murray, FLANNELS’ Chief Executive comments: “This is a milestone moment for our business. The scale, service proposition and brand offering to be discovered at FLANNELS Liverpool is truly in a league of its own – I can’t wait for our customers to see it. With the opening of each of these experience-orientated flagships, we’re doubling down on our commitment to ‘new luxury’, on our understanding of youth culture, and on the valued proposition we give to brands: access to untapped audiences.”

Jack Bridges, FLANNELS Creative Consultant and partner at luxury designers, Argent, notes: “For FLANNELS Liverpool, we wanted to create the most unique store to date. The concept was always to curate a store that was pushing the boundaries of any other in the UK – to be a playground for luxury. Our beauty hall, which is now our biggest pursuit into the market, is unlike any other store in the world – we wanted to ensure that we could create an ultra-modern visual identity that brings beauty into the spotlight as only Flannels Beauty can. From the outside, we have ensured that key details were restored from this beautiful ‘‘late Georgian architecture’’ to the contrast of our curated modern window displays.”

Customers can expect to discover an unrivalled Balenciaga edit, Loewe making their debut in retail up north, Christian Louboutin showcasing a curated edit, as well as exclusive pop-up spaces with brands such as Burberry and Off-White. FLANNELS has invested significantly in new-wave designers, and trailblazers making waves – such as Casey Cadwallader’s Mugler, as the Liverpool store stakes its claim as Mugler’s sole stockist in the North of England (as well as producing exclusive sell-out colourways on their best-selling bodysuits).

Exclusive edits and limited-edition styles can be found across the store, notably via New York’s man-of-the-moment LaQuan Smith and it-girl go-to 16Arlington. FLANNELS also adds new labels to its roster, with Jacquemus bringing his signature joie de vivre to the shelves.

As a pioneer of the rise of streetwear across the last decade, collating an exciting edit of key players and ones-to-watch remains a core focus for FLANNELS. Stalwarts including Stone Island, CP Company and Casablanca hang side-by-side with upcoming labels currently making their mark, with Fear of God and Represent among them. More exclusive capsules come courtesy of Off-White and RHUDE, with LA-based Amiri staging a pop-up later this summer. The store hosts an 18 Montrose concept space centred around a modern hype edit, the best of streetwear and exclusive collaborations from the likes of Rick Owens x Converse to Pharrell Williams x adidas.

With the perfect pair of jeans notoriously difficult to lay hands on, FLANNELS strives to challenge the norm of designers and size runs – enhancing its accessible and contemporary denim edit. With a size range spanning sizes 6-22 from the likes of Good American, Agolde and Frame. For those still struggling to find their perfect fit, an on-site alteration service customs tailor jeans across all brands – within minutes.

For those who aren’t looking for an off-the-peg suit, look no further than an all-new, on-site made-to-measure service where you can have proportions noted down to get nipped and tucked as required. Situated on the men’s premium floor, the digitally-focused concept will be rolled out through other FLANNELS flagships nationwide.

Beyond fashion, a new chapter of FLANNELS’ Beauty story has begun with the Liverpool doors opening. FLANNELS were the innovators behind the world’s first Beauty ‘Changing Rooms’ – offering shoppers the chance to experiment with a vast swathe of products from the likes of Pat McGrath Labs, Kylie Cosmetics, Hermès, Gucci Beauty, Tom Ford, Chanel, and Patrick Ta, or blast themselves with a wind machine for the Hollywood effect. You can also simply scan a QR code to receive a digital snapshot of the look. The beauty edit is bolstered by haute and cult fragrance by Creed, Le Labo, Frederick Malle, and By Killian, as well as skincare by Dermalogica and more, and there is also a dedicated ‘tweakments’ space, courtesy of celebrity-approved cosmetic doctor Dr.Esho.

FLANNELS’ offering sits alongside a series of world-class food and beverage destinations set across the store. The store fuses retail and leisure under one roof and brings four venues – creating a new all-day dining concept in Liverpool city. On the ground floor ‘Bacino’, brings a modern, social Italian through its fresh, authentic, and creative menu. The sixth floor will boast three venues including a rooftop brasserie, an all-day dining space, and a pan-Asian restaurant. Opening in Autumn, each concept will provide an experience for customers to enjoy whilst exploring the world of luxury at FLANNELS Liverpool.
