St James Quarter has signed Lane7, the UK’s largest independent boutique bowling and gaming operator. The new 19,000 sq ft entertainment venue will be situated on Level 4. As well as bowling, existing Lane7 sites include ping-pong, urban golf, 80s-style arcade games, karaoke, beer pong, and more, with Edinburgh’s full entertainment line up yet to be announced. Each Lane7 site is uniquely designed to create the best in cocktails, beers, and grown-up gaming.

This latest addition to the retail, leisure and dining offer at St James Quarter comes swiftly off the back of SushiSamba signing its first restaurant in Scotland at the development, as well as Bonnie & Wild, a new concept food hall by restaurant brand, Mac & Wild. St James Quarter will be a premier food and drink destination, providing a truly diverse offer – from fast food, fresh food, to family and restaurant dining. The offer will be available over a number of locations throughout St James Quarter, each with its own unique look and feel.

Ed Corrigan at St James Quarter, commented: “Our vision is to create the most diverse and attractive retail, leisure and F&B offering that Edinburgh has ever seen. The signing of Lane7 is a major milestone in this vision, creating the next generation in mixed-use with highly sought-after entertainment. Lane7’s exciting entertainment experience will be another reason to visit St James Quarter and the city of Edinburgh.”
