For 25 years, Folk Clothing has been about people – coming together, sharing ideas, and making things that feel right. A legacy of creativity, community and craftsmanship. Now, as we celebrate this milestone, we invite the next generation to pick up a pencil and shape what’s next.
For us, many good ideas start with putting pencil to paper. This humble tool is intuitive and immediate – a natural extension of the mind. That first mark on a page can lead anywhere. With creativity and curiosity at the heart of our story, the pencil becomes the symbol of our 25th anniversary celebrations – a tool for sketching, scribbling, refining and redefining what’s possible.
Over the next year, Folk Clothing will mark this moment with exclusive collections, collaborations and community initiatives.
The Archive Collection – Chosen by You (Launching 22nd April 2025)
A revival of Folk’s most beloved pieces, created through a visit to the Folk Archive, as well as inspiration through the eyes of the people who wore them. Each silhoueHe – fostered by our community – carries a story, a memory, a mark made over time.
Like a washed denim jacket, selected by longstanding member of the Folk family, Paul Van Stone, now reinterpreted as the Anniversary Jacket, or Chris Wake’s cherished ‘LiHle people’ cardigan, reworked as a contemporary boxy cardigan with embroidered detailing in classic Folk tones. A playful collection rooted in nostalgia and built to be worn for the next 25 years.
Meet the Ambassadors – A Celebration of Collective Creativity
Five extraordinary makers, creators, and crafters put pencil to paper to embark on a creative journey, creating bespoke artworks inspired by the humble pencil. The result? An eclectic line-up of pieces set to auction next month, with all proceeds going towards supporting the next generation of creatives.

The Bursary Fund – Opening Doors for the Future
Proceeds from the artwork auction will fund a series of short-course bursaries – a tangible commitment to ensuring emerging creatives have the access, opportunity and resources to make their own mark.
Simply submit an existing artwork to be in consideration for the short-course bursary opportunity. Applications will be open from May 2025; keep an eye out on Folk’s Socials for the chance to apply for a short-course bursary.
Creating a Lasting Legacy – the Artist in Residency Space, W1
Folk is laying the foundations for the future with the launch of its Artist in Residency space at the new Eastcastle Street Store, W1. A dedicated creative hub where the next generation can experiment, grow, and shape the evolving Folk narrative.
The first six-month residency will be led by Joey Yu, paving the way for the next resident – be it an upcoming bursary winner of a future creative collaborator.
Through collaboration, creativity and community, Folk continues to open doors, involving the next generation to take their place in its ongoing story – because the best ideas are still waiting to be drawn.
