Selfridges will open a cinema at its Oxford Street store this November, as it broadens its retail offering. The cinema will have entrances direct from the store as well as from Duke Street and will include a private screening room and an underground bar.

The luxury department store claim they will be the first in the world to incorporate a permanent cinema. Two of the screening rooms will have around 80 seats and the third about 30. They will show a mix of Hollywood releases and independent films. The cinema will be developed with Olympic Studios, who already have locations in Barnes and Battersea.
