The creation of Hexcite “represents the most exciting and ambitious coming together of companies operating in the retail design and print industry in the past ten years”, according to CEO, Matthew Frost. Hexcite brings together three of the UK’s leading providers of digital and physical display solutions – Gardners, Kesslers and SFD.

Over 200 leading players in the retail world, representing some 60 companies, gathered at an event on the evening of Thursday 5th September at Proud Embankment, to celebrate the official launch of Hexcite with live music and comedy performances.

The new brand was introduced at the event, and guests were given an insight into the management’s exciting vision for Hexcite. Hexcite aims to put its customers at the forefront of retail and design to excite generations of shoppers and consumers with immersive retail experiences.

Hexcite is a single, all-encompassing entity that can provide world-renowned brands and retailers with an unprecedented breadth of products and services. These will be delivered by Gardners, Kesslers, and SFD working closely together, alongside Hexcite’s in-house design agency, CREATE. The three businesses are design and manufacturing leaders in their fields, with decades of experience of delivering successful campaigns across the retail industry.

Matthew Frost, CEO, Hexcite Group, said: “The launch of Hexcite creates an exciting proposition for the retail industry, which in many cases has been struggling to adapt to the changing market landscape. The High Street is rapidly evolving with an increasing use of pop-ups and a growing need for brands and retailers to stand out. At Hexcite, we know that high levels of customer service combined with immersive experiences are the best way to deliver a brand’s values. These will inspire customers and increase loyalty. While online shopping continues to grow in popularity, it is more difficult for customers to have the same emotional connection they get in stores.”

“The bringing together of Gardners, Kesslers, and SFD into the Hexcite Group means we can create bespoke customer-led experiences for retailers and brands from start to finish. We can handle all stages of the process from concept to manufacture to delivery, from digital print through to hand-finished design. The experience and energy that the team at Hexcite can bring to all these elements will make a real difference.” “Ultimately, we understand that brands and retailers care about protecting the livelihoods of the people who work in retail and want to deliver customer experiences that go way beyond their expectations.” “The ambition of Hexcite is to further develop our proposition by making full use of technology as well as anonymous data capture at the shelf edge. This can be used to drive customer conversion, increase transactional value and improve consumer insight. We will evolve our business to support this, and to meet the constantly changing needs of customers.”

Marcus Moir, Chairman, Hexcite Group, said: “The emergence of Hexcite has only been possible through the backing and vision of Elaghmore Partners. Based on two years’ solid experience with Kesslers, we are delighted that Elaghmore has made further substantial investment to acquire Gardners and SFD and unlock Hexcite’s huge potential. We share an ambitious vision and set of values, putting customers and their brands at the heart of the business and are excited to be talking to customers over the coming months about how Hexcite can help to build their business and drive profit.”
