Curated Makers hosted their first Curated Makers Market on the 19th and 20th of March, showcasing eleven independent local businesses and their handmade products to the shoppers of Trinity Leeds. This new market will double in size this month and become the monthly destination, within Trinity Leeds, to find locally made gifts with real people and stories behind them.

With the event being placed within such a prime retail location within the city centre, the market is an incredible opportunity for makers to share in the glory of reaching high street shoppers. The buzzing shopping centre welcomed an array of northern businesses from candle makers Olive & B, dried flower florist Pampas & Bloom and Leeds based bean to bar chocolate makers, Frankly Delicious. The makers were overwhelmed by the positive responses from passing customers and enthralled in sharing the stories and craft behind their products.

The following monthly markets are set to double in size, giving even more makers a chance to sell their products alongside more than 120 national and international brands under one iconic roof. Curated Makers are now determined to expand their market portfolio and be able to provide cities with more destinations for shopping small.

Curated Makers are currently seeking a new location for their next Curated Makers Markets in Manchester. Megan Jones, Founder & Director of Curated Makers commented; “Adding another prime opportunity for local makers to trade is something we’re so proud to facilitate.
