Westfield Rise, the in-house media, brand partnerships, and experiential agency of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, is set to transform Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City into London’s leading destination for the London Eid Festival – Europe’s largest Eid al-Fitr celebration – for the sixth consecutive year.
Taking place from 4th to 6th April at Westfield London, followed by Westfield Stratford City from 11th to 13th April, the event is expected to draw over 300,000 visitors across both weekends – rivalling the footfall typically seen on Boxing Day at the centres.
Spanning 4.2 million sqft across indoor and outdoor event spaces, the festival will feature a dynamic mix of live entertainment, immersive brand activations, diverse food markets, and international retailers from Turkey, Malaysia, Dubai, and beyond. Westfield Square, London’s expansive outdoor plaza, will host 20 food stalls alongside a main entertainment stage, showcasing appearances from community celebrities and VIPs. Inside, visitors can explore over 80 international concession stands across The Atrium at Westfield London and The Arena at Westfield Stratford City, offering everything from modest fashion and boutique gifts to children’s books and homeware.
The London Eid Festival showcases how brands can engage diverse audiences in a meaningful, high-impact way, leveraging Westfield’s footfall, premium event spaces, and cutting-edge OOH media network to create unforgettable experiences. As part of this, Westfield Rise continues its collaboration with Maaida Noor, displaying her artwork – inspired by Islamic arts and cultural heritage – across more than 50 Westfield’s DOOH screens at Westfield London and Stratford City. This partnership highlights Westfield Rise’s role in connecting brands, art, and communities through high-visibility media, enhancing the festival’s cultural significance while deepening audience engagement.
Melanie Lalou, Director of Westfield Rise, Northern Europe, said: “The London Eid Festival is a prime example of how Westfield Rise connects brands with communities through immersive activations. Our event spaces host everything from interactive pop-ups to large-scale cultural celebrations, with live entertainment, vibrant food markets, and striking creative displays across our digital OOH network. This festival highlights the power of experiential engagement, bringing brands and diverse audiences together in a meaningful way.”
Waleed Jahangir, Managing Director at Algebra Consulting, said: “The London Eid Festival at Westfield has grown year after year, not just in scale but in impact. Westfield’s event spaces provide an unparalleled platform to bring communities together and engage with the evolving Muslim consumer landscape. With the support of Westfield Rise, we’re able to create an even more impactful and far-reaching celebration, one that not only honours tradition but also connects brands and businesses with diverse audiences in an authentic setting.”
