P-THREE, the real estate agency and consultancy focused on mixed use development and prime retail and leisure leasing, has appointed John Strachan as a consultant.  Strachan, the former head of Cushman & Wakefield global retail, will work alongside P-THREE’s founders, Justin Taylor, Hannah McNamara and Thomas Rose, to further expand the company’s international network, geographical coverage and client base.

The news coincides with the formal launch of Global Retail Connections (GBR), a network of like-minded retail, restaurant and leisure sector real estate consultants co-founded by P-THREE.  Global Retail Connections’ membership includes P-THREE (UK), Hudson Capital (Australia), HPlus-Curiosity (Japan), Jacobs Van Der Meij (Netherlands), Lantern Real Estate (USA) and Live Retail Agency (Belgium).  Each member is an expert in their specialist global region, and all have worked together previously.

Global Retail Connections provides development consultancy, occupier representation, agency and leasing, and works with owners and developers to bring physical spaces to life.  The team provides insight, shares networks and delivers an effective international understanding to its clients.

Justin Taylor, co-founder of P-THREE, said: “P-THREE’s founders know John very well from our days at Cushman & Wakefield.  His reputation and market knowledge are legendary, and will be of significant benefit to our clients as we help them respond to the new realities facing the property sector globally.”

John Strachan added: “I have watched P-THREE’s growth with great interest, not least because they are providing something different, and much needed, to the market.  This is a great time to be joining the business, as the shifting dynamics in the market create significant opportunities for owners, developers and operators alike.  The nature of P-THREE, which is founder-led, strategic in its outlook and flexible in its approach, creates a great environment for me to continue to contribute to the industry.”

Justin Taylor added: “Global Retail Connections, which brings together a network of leading real estate consultants, is a great complement to John’s experience.  Together, they provide P-THREE with a unique global perspective and reach.”

P-THREE’s appointment of Strachan and launch of Global Retail Connections follows the news last month the business has hired Raquel Sanchez Diaz, formerly of CBRE, to develop P-THREE’s central London and prime shopping mall client base.  In addition, Kate Sadler was appointed last year to work with Thomas Rose on growing P-THREE’s restaurant and leisure offer.

P-THREE’s current clients include Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, St James Quarter in Edinburgh, Lakeside, and South Kensington Station Estate.  The team is also advising on the redevelopment of the former House of Fraser at 318 Oxford Street, Bankside Yards in Southwark, One Tower Bridge Estate, and Tower42 in the City of London.  P-THREE also has several high profile occupier representation instructions, such as Third Space, Metrix UEFA Champions League, F1 Arcade, Puttshack, Rosa’s Thai, DF/Tacos and Wahaca.  The company became carbon neutral in 2020.
