Global logistics provider fulfilmentcrowd has announced the expansion of its US fulfilment
network, introducing three new fulfilment centres located in New Jersey, Chicago and Los
Angeles.
Replacing its previous two US locations, the new centres enhance fulfilmentcrowd’s North
American presence, enabling coast-to-coast coverage for brands serving US customers.
The new facilities – operated in partnership with Royal Fulfillment – are strategically positioned to support high-volume eCommerce and B2B distribution across the United States, with locations in Newark, NJ (East Coast), Chicago, IL (Midwest) and Los Angeles, CA (West Coast).
With bi-coastal and central inventory positioning, brands can reduce shipping distances and
offer faster, more reliable delivery to customers nationwide.
fulfilmentcrowd Chief Executive Officer, Lee Thompson, said: “The US is a critical growth market for many of our clients. With this three-centre network, we’re aiming to reduce operational friction at scale, giving global brands the ability to operate domestically across the US with speed, flexibility and cost control built in.”
In partnership with Royal Fulfillment – a family-run operator with over 18 years of industry
experience – the new centres bring an integrated and operationally aligned fulfilment approach to the fulfilmentcrowd network. Royal’s infrastructure has been designed around its own fulfilment operations, resulting in highly optimised workflows across goods-in, storage, picking, packing, returns and rework.
Each site is equipped to handle both direct-to-consumer and large-scale retail distribution,
with established capabilities supporting major retailers such as Amazon, Walmart and
Sephora.
The facilities also unlock a broader range of domestic shipping services and price points,
including ground, day-definite and expedited air options, through major carriers including
USPS, FedEx and DHL – giving brands greater control over delivery speed and cost.
In addition, the new network setup introduces enhanced import and distribution flexibility.
Business can now route inbound shipments directly to either coast, eliminating the need to
move inventory across the country post-arrival.
Across all three locations, the centres offer:
• Over 600,000 sqft of combined warehouse space
• Direct access to major ports, rail networks and airports
• Hazmat, CPG and FDA-certified operations
• Advanced assembly, packaging and value-added services
• Integrated eCommerce and B2B capabilities
The result is a more scalable and flexible US fulfilment solution, designed to mirror the
operational strength of fulfilmentcrowd’s UK operation – simply tailored for the complexities of the North American market.
“This is about more than just adding locations,” Thompson added. “These centres add to a
network that already reflects how modern brands operate: omnichannel, fast-moving and
customer-first. Now we can support these requirements across the entire United States.”
