The Zurich-based bag makers known for their one-of-a-kind products made from upcycled truck tarpaulins since 1993, is excited to announce the launch of a special FREITAG Mini Market Pop-Up at the iconic Dover Street Market Ginza.
From August 8 – 24, FREITAG transforms a space on the 5th floor of the concept store into a mini market. Inspired by a fresh fruit supermarket, the scenography is built around a reused shelving system, creating an authentic atmosphere that reflects the brand’s commitment to circularity and resourceful design.
Visitors will have the opportunity to browse a range of individual FREITAG bags and backpacks. Each product is a one-off piece, cut from different used truck tarps, ensuring that no two items are alike.
This unique pop-up brings the functional and individualistic spirit of FREITAG into the world of Dover Street Market, a retailer celebrated for its curated, avant-garde mix of high fashion and streetwear, and its immersive, art-driven installations. It’s a meeting of two brands that champion originality and a strong design ethos.
